Analysis with Indicators, Strategies, and Patterns
To add a technical indicator as an overlay element:
- After opening the Charts module from the Analysis menu, type in a symbol name in the Symbol text field towards the left-hand corner, then select it from the autocomplete list using the mouse pointer.
- Once the Chart data has loaded you may now add a range of Indicators, Strategies, and Patterns as overlay chart elements.
- Simply click on the 'Indicators'
button from the menu bar, then select the desired Indicator, Strategy, or Pattern that you wish to add as an overlay to the primary chart.
- Note: You may add more than one indicator.
- After you've added the indicators press the 'X'
button to close the Indicators panel.
- You can customize the options available for the added indicator by clicking on the indicator card element that appears in the left-hand corner.
- To hide or remove the indicator element, simply mouseover the card at the corner of the chart and press the hide or 'remove'
button.
